Scripted sample, not live AI. The proposed feature requires a compatible device, supported language, and an available on-device model. Your text is not collected by this demo.
Privacy, in plain English
Your documents don't need a detour through us.
Across is built around processing on your device. Cloud storage and email still involve the providers you choose. That distinction matters.
On your deviceReading and preparing.
Your document is viewed and your email draft is prepared locally. The planned AI review uses an on-device model.
Through your chosen servicesDownloading and sharing.
Opening a cloud file may download it from Google or Apple. Sending an email passes it to your mail provider and recipient.
Outside the document workflowOur servers.
Across doesn't need its own document server to view your files or prepare your email. You decide when a file leaves your device.
A few useful answers
Know what
stays local.
Does Across replace Google Drive or iCloud?
No. Those services remain your file storage providers. Across gives you a place to read the documents you choose and prepare your next action.
Does emailing a file keep it on my device?
No. Sending shares a copy through your email provider to your recipient. The planned native email workflow avoids an Across delivery server; it does not make email an on-device-only action.
Is the AI review available now?
The review shown here is a preview of the proposed feature. It is designed to use Apple's on-device model on compatible devices, with no automatic cloud fallback. Ordinary drafting will remain available when the model is unavailable.
Will Across send a message for me?
The planned workflow hands your draft and attachment to Apple's native mail composer. You review the recipients and press Send. Across does not send silently or confirm delivery.
Is this the same app as vabletNotes?
They serve different moments. vabletNotes helps turn conversations into notes and follow-ups. Across begins with the files you already have. Both share an emphasis on useful work on your device.
